Abstract

Few people know more about Pla-Narbona's work than Dr. Maria León Sanromà. The figure of Pla-Narbonne is subject to growing interest. From his origins as a cartoonist, publicist and designer, (National Award in 2004), his graphic work refers to icons that disturb and seduce equally, to achieve full maturity as a surrealist and existentialist painter. "Homage to Freud" is a work that perfectly shows this crossroads between painting and drawing, graphics and narration. No one better than Dr. León to introduce our readers to the complexity of one of the essential artists of our current panorama.

Doctora en Medicina. Especialista en medicina interna y en medicina familiar y comunitaria.
Compañera y esposa de Josep Pla-Narbona desde 1985.
Ha ejercido de médica de familia en Cornellà de Llobregat durante 30 años.
