Religious path of piety and mercy opened between two extremes: the senequist resignation and the excess of immortality of Unamuno

This article outlines María Zambrano’s theological philosophy through the interpretation of the religious problem from Unamuno’s metaphysics of the philosophy, facing the spiritual crisis of his generation. Zambrano, confronting rational systems and orders, seems to seek broaden the horizon. Both thinkers separate when Zambrano considers that Unamuno does not renounce definitively reason.
