Abstract

Medical consultations are narrative factories, stories waiting to be told and that require our full attention. Recognizing the meaning of the words, of the events described, will allow us to strengthen the medical relationship. It is also important to recognize what feelings these encounters generate in us, to know our limitations, to be reflective and to be able to communicate them to others.
