Things, sometimes, are not what they seem to be, and the abuse of the woman is hidden behind the home door. Not even a well-trained doctor – interested in her patients – is always able to realize what is not told in the consultation. When the disease arrives, many things change within the family, and its relationship with the health system. Home care is necessary, compassion and delivery, too. But that couple has a story whose weight will not be noticed until the end. The suffering of the patient and the caregiver are approached by the doctor who clashes with an ignored reality. The attention to patient´s physical needs can be exquisite by the caregiver, but if there is no love, no matter how clean ulcers, loneliness and fear will make death very difficult to arrive with the desired serenity.
