Abstract

Frederic W. Platt, MD is an internist; His professional task has been developed mainly in Primary Health Care as a general practitioner; he was also a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Colorado and was director of communication training for first and second year medical students. 
He is a regional consultant for the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communication. In the present work he presents, in an intimate and honest way, his experience as a Parkinson's patient.
