Abstract

Poetry is a first-rate narrative possibility for bringing us closer to the world and communicating
it. A series of haikus (triplets of Japanese origin of five, seven and five syllables) is presented
as an invitation to a brief poetic reading that encourages the reader to search for new verses
and, if possible, to write his or her own.
