Abstract

Woody Allen usually writes scripts with three reading levels: a tragic structure in which the viewer believes to be ahead of the misfortunes that befall protagonists, a "surface" plot, suitable for all audiences, where the good and the evil are fighting to say the last word, and a philosophical reflection, in our case (Irrational Man) being established between the moral utilitarianism and emotionalism.
