Abstract

This book works on the emergence of psychology during the second half of 19th Century as a new discipline, focused into the analysis on human’s mental states. New advances, both theoretical as well as instrumental, made possible the emergence of neurosciences during 20th Century. The exponential interest among other disciplines’ experts on neur oscientific images and i deas has yielded to the extended and general use of “neuro-” prefix. This situation is under critical analysis of both authors.
