Data centers: in search of their legal regime

This paper provides an exposition of the situation of data center regulation in the European Union and in Spain. After making an approach to its concept and typology, the way in which its regulation is being addressed in both legal systems is examined, highlighting the fragmentary nature that the different regulatory initiatives in the field have to date present.
