Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to delve into the study of the legal regime of the zone of influence established and regulated by the Coastal Law, 22/1988, specifying its teleology, scope, guidelines and rules that it incorporates, with special attention to the indeterminate legal concept of architectural barrier, and its jurisdictional regime. It starts from a critical assessent of new jurisprudence that interprests art. 30 and transitional provison 3 of the Coastal Law and related to the new legislation of the Comunidad Valenciana Law 3/2025, of May 22, on the protection and planning of the Valencia coast, which defines the idea of an architectural barrier.
