Abstract

This paper shows how the regulation of the management of natural parks in Italy has moved from the appointment of environmental experts directly from the central administration to an appointment through a public competition among legal experts, given the need to know and apply legislation on public contracts, administrative procedure, public accounting, personnel management, transparency, and environmental impact assessment.
