Fertile region of Valencia: property, land planning and protection

Abstract

This paper tries to analyze the regulation of the Huerta de València after Law 5/2018, of March 6, which establishes different mechanisms for the protection of territorial space. The importance of the Huerta in the organization of the territory is revealed in Decree 219/2018, of November 30, of the Consell by which the Territorial Action Plan for organization and dynamization of the
same is approved and is related to the historical rustic leases, and the landscape, as well as in the use of water resources, in which the urban area takes on fundamental importance.
