Thoughts on the future of the city

Abstract

In view of some current proposals to revise the urban planning system, replacing plans with other programmatic instruments, less rigid and adaptable to a society in continuous change, without undergoing the lengthy modification and revision processes, but maintaining the security of those in force, the possibility offered by artificial intelligence of incorporating complex algorithms
that provide the corresponding strategic programs with adaptation keys, of a normative nature, for the different scenarios posed by reality, is pointed out.
