An approach to the urban landscape of madrid through three types of fabrics

Abstract

The present work is a proposal to read a city by pieces. A journey through the urban form of Madrid is proposed in which historical, morphotypological, functional and socioeconomic considerations converge. The following are addressed: the characterization of the open block periphery (from the polygon to the new expansion), the risks of the polygon, and the stigmatization of the urban from in the periphery.
